Moving forward to 2013, and it was felt that the 15B was a logical follow up to the 15A as they share the same routing from Grand Canal Dock to Rathgar. Twelve months previously the RVs of Ringsend Garage had been eeking out their final days on the 15B but in October 2013 I managed to travel on GT 104, one of the most modern buses in the fleet. It was unusually a bright, sunny October Saturday with a variety of bus types on the route: AV, AX and GT. Loads were not very high and runnning times were variable with short turnarounds at both terminii. It is an interesting route with a view unexpected diversions, but the part over the M50 on Stocking Lane provides stunning views over most of the city and worth doing just for that.
