Back in December 2010, during the snow and when I did my journey on the 17, I travelled back to Dundrum in order to do the 14A. I got this from the terminus in Dundrum to the City Centre. In 2010 the 14, 14A and 48A were common routes for RVs but on the day I did it I got AV 396 from Donnybrook Garage.
Just over a week later, with most of the snow gone, I decided to travel on the 20B which was a curious route. To begin with, in 2010 there was no 20 or 20A, but the 20B was still going strong. It was also a relatively short route, only going from Eden Quay to Ardlea Road in Beaumont. On the day I travelled on VG 35 from Summerhill Garage.
Fast forward to 2013 and some things have changed and some have stayed the same. In 2011, under the Network Direct changes, the 14, 14A, 20B and 48A were all combined into a new, cross-city, route 14. On 5th March 2013 I boarded AV 110 in Ardlea Road for a trip to Dundrum. Coincidently, AV 110 was a former regular on the 20B. The route is now operated by both Summerhill and Donnybrook Garages, bringing buses to areas they had not visited before. Spotted on the day on the 14 was AV 396, the bus I got on the 14A three years earlier. However, then it belonged to Donnybrook but has since been transferred to Summerhill!
